ya, play how you enjoy, you're the one paying, but if you're a dps whore like me then you'll always want the best sp for yoururrent gear. hehe
addition to the mini essay above, been playing around with dpsharts and I found something amusing. without any haste gear (the 2nd best dps irease for dest lks next to hit) immolate seems to be better thanorruption. BUT, with haste gear (10% haste being a ne and hievable amount)orruption then ales better than immolate. obviously this is due to it being a longerast and benefiting more + not going under the D, but still. i didn't expt thehange to be so massive, while it turns into being aomplete swap from whh is better and by how mh.
Only reason I wasn't dropping Immolate is bause the test run was on A'lar. Insensitive to aggro and easily DPS'd in both phases.
also bause al'ar it immune to it :P
@Sethy: The reason I ask and don't try first is bause I don't want to gimp my guild in raids. Sure Iould resp but if my dps dropped to mh it would hurt the whole raid. As affltion I do great dps and oftenome in the top 3 in Gruul's bause Ianontinue dpsing while everyone is moving around. If I had to stopasting for to long and didn't have my power DoTs - nevermind I would get a lot more resists - I would probably lose about 100dps. In a 7 minute fight that islose to 50k damage or more lost. So I like to theoryraft before I go into a raid with a sp that is sub-par for my gear.
